  Multi-Root Workspace Support

  • Generate commit messages for individual repositories in multi-root workspaces
  • Click the sparkle icon in a repo's Source Control title bar to target that repo directly
  • Use the Command Palette to select which repository to generate a commit message for via a quick pick
  • Progress notifications now show the repository name

  Refactoring

  • Extracted Git operations into a dedicated gitService module with exported shared interfaces
  • All Git functions now receive an explicit Repository parameter instead of always targeting the first repo
  • GenerateOptions requires a repository to ensure the correct repo context is used throughout

  What's New

  • Cancel button on the progress notification — you can now abort an in-progress commit message generation directly from the notification in the bottom right corner. Clicking cancel immediately kills the OpenCode process.

  Improvements

  • Timeout timer is now properly cleaned up when the process finishes normally, on cancellation, or on error (was previously leaked).
  • Added a settled flag to prevent race conditions between timeout, user cancellation, and process completion.
